This month is Israeli chef and restaurateur Michael Solomonov, known for his Philadelphia restaurant, Zahav. He won the James Beard Foundation awards for Best Chef and for Outstanding Restaurant, the first Israeli restaurant to ever win the award. Michael will be preparing apple shrub, potato latkes, Roman artichokes with salmon, and sfenj.
