The Federation, often called "The Central Address of the Jewish Community", is a blend of volunteers, donors and member agencies, devoted to meeting the needs of the Jewish community.  Our funds, derived primarily from the annual community campaign, are allocated each year to local, national and overseas agencies and organizations.

Other primary Federation functions include community planning, community relations, leadership development and promoting a community understanding of the State of Israel and its people.  Contact us about becoming involved in the Bernstein Leadership Group, NEXTGEN Charlotte (Young Adult Division), Women's Philanthropy, Ben-Gurion Society (BGS), Jewish Community Relations Council, Partnership 2Gether, and Teen Israel Scholarships.

Our Outreach efforts include Shalom Baby, PJ Library, Newcomer Schmoozes among a few. A variety of programs and events are planned throughout the year, and we welcome your participation.
