The Hebrew Cemetery Association, the oldest Jewish organization in Charlotte, founded in 1867, is an independent non-profit group. It is responsible for the sale of burial lots, internment arrangements and maintenance of Cemetery grounds. The cemetery is located at 1801 Statesville Avenue. The Association is funded by memberships and funeral revenue and serves the entire community in and around Charlotte, affiliated or not. The cemetery offers also an open section for interfaith burials and a cremation section. We welcome all inquiries about memberships or prepaid arrangements of plot purchases.
