The Charlotte Yiddish Institute is an annual event taking place at the Wildacres Retreat, Little Switzerland, NC.  It is open to men and women dedicated to enhancing their knowledge and use of the Yiddish language and culture through lectures, workshops, concerts, religious services, etc.  The Yiddish Institute offers scholarships to students enrolled in college and university Yiddish studies/language programs and contributes to many national and international Yiddish organizations and publications.  It is sponsored by the Jewish Community Center of Charlotte.  For more information or to be placed on the mailing list call Baila Pransky, Coordinator, at 704 366-5564.
